June 14- June 21st  2008 Join us for a week of paddling Cape Cod's coastal waterways.  This is one of the best ways to see it's natural beauty and to explore areas accessible only by kayak or canoe.

CAMPING:  Shady Knoll Campground in Brewster offers 100 campsites, clean modern restrooms, free showers and a camp store. Reservations are up to each individual and can be made at anytime.  Book early for good sites, the campground fills up fast.  You can book your campsite online at Shady Knoll Campground   or by phone (508) 896-3002.

FUN & GAMES:  All paddling trips will be in protected bays, inlets, harbors, rivers and marshes and participants must be able to handle 5-10 miles of paddling.  There may be days of paddling against current and winds.  Sea kayaks, canoes and recreational kayaks of 12 feet or longer will be able to handle most of the trips.  No boats less than 12 feet.  Participants must have their own equipment including; paddle float, pump, and spare clothes in the hatch. PFD's are required. Paddling trips will be at the discretion of the leaders, pending Mother Nature's fury.  A paddling trip will be planned for everyday.  Before making a reservation, please e-mail the leaders and tell us your level of paddling experience including type of boat.  The leaders reserve the right to turn away individuals that we feel can not handle this paddling trip.

The 25 mile Cape Cod Rail Trail is easy access from the campground, so bring your bikes if you so desire.  Fresh water kettle ponds abound within 10 minutes of the campground, bring your bathing suit, chair and a good book.

FOOD: Bring your own food for the week.  Stop & Shop is 20 minutes down the road for supplies.  Many excellent restaurants are in the area.

DIRECTIONS: Sagamore Bridge to Route 6 East.  Follow  Route 6 East to Exit 11, turn right onto route 137 (towards Brewster) and follow to the end. Campground is directly across route 6A.  GPS Coordinates: 41.7466,  70.13666

E-mail communication is highly preferred. Please no phone calls unless absolutely necessary.

Leaders: Louse Price weezrad@yahoo.com - 508-529-3402
