FUN & GAMES: All paddling trips will be in protected bays, inlets, harbors,
rivers and marshes and participants must be able to handle 5-10 miles of
paddling. There may be days of paddling against current and winds.
Sea kayaks, canoes and recreational kayaks of 12 feet or longer will be able
to handle most of the trips. No boats less than 12 feet.
Participants must have their own equipment including; paddle float, pump, and
spare clothes in the hatch. PFD's are required. Paddling trips will be at the
discretion of the leaders, pending Mother Nature's fury. A paddling trip
will be planned for everyday. Before making a reservation, please
e-mail the leaders and tell us your level of paddling experience including
type of boat. The leaders reserve the right to turn away individuals
that we feel can not handle this paddling trip.The 25 mile Cape Cod
Rail Trail is easy access from the campground, so bring your bikes if you so
desire. Fresh water kettle ponds abound within 10 minutes of the
campground, bring your bathing suit, chair and a good book.
FOOD: Bring your own food for the week.
Stop & Shop is 20 minutes down the road for supplies. Many excellent
restaurants are in the area.
DIRECTIONS: Sagamore Bridge to Route 6 East.
Follow Route 6 East to Exit 11, turn right onto route 137
(towards Brewster) and follow to the end.
Campground is directly across route 6A.
